Dr. Bell joined West Volusia Pediatrics in 1981, after completing his pediatric residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is board certified in Pediatrics. Currently serving as Medical Director for Children's Medical Services and Pediatric Clerkship Director for Florida State University at the Daytona Beach Campus, Dr. Bell has been an active voice in Child Protection issues over the years.
Dr. Bell lives in DeLand with his wife, Ida. He has three daughters, Rachel, Rebecca, and Chloe, and a step-son Ethan.
Dr. Jeff Reinertsen is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, where he also earned the degree of Doctor of Medicine. After completion of his pediatric residency at Tampa General, Dr. Reinertsen joined West Volusia Pediatrics in 1990.
Dr. Reinertsen serves as clerkship faculty for the Florida State University's College of Medicine at the Daytona Beach Campus. Dr. Reinertsen lives in DeLand with his wife Cindy, has two adult children, Kelsey and Eric, and one grandchild.
Kay Matejka joined West Volusia Pediatrics in 1997. Kay has a Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Florida in Gainesville, and is licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner . Kay performs history and physicals, illness assessment and treatment, and provides continuing care for some chronic illnesses. Kay works under the supervision of our physicians, one of whom is always available to her for consultation.
Kay lives in Flagler Beach with her husband, Dale, and has three adult sons.
